Italy: Milan still two points ahead of Inter
After Inter Milan had presented at La Spezia (3-1) in the early evening, rivals Milan followed suit later on Friday evening. With a 2-0 victory over Genoa (with Sylvain Hefty), the “Rossoneri” quickly regained the lead in the long-distance duel. Five days before the end of the Italian Serie A, an in-city duel appeared on the Scudetto.
France: Monaco slow down Rennes
Stade Rennes missed the jump to second place at the start of Round 32 of the French Ligue 1. At home, FC Brittany lost 3-2 to Monaco. This means that Olympique de Marseille remains the main chaser for the Paris Saint-Germain leader. Sunday evening will witness a major battle between the two teams in the capital.
Spain: No winner in San Sebastian
The chase match in the Spanish League between Real Sociedad and Betis Seville ended without goals. The Basques remain one point behind the Andalusians in sixth place.
