Captain of the U17 National Team
FC Bayern have secured the services of goalkeeper talent Anthony Pavlecic. The Australian U17 national team captain comes from the Central Coast Mariners youth team. The 17-year-old has already made three appearances for the Mariners’ reserves in the second-tier National Premier League this season and has been in the A-League squad three times.
“Anthony completed a two-week trial with us in February and made a lasting impression. We followed him very closely and decided the overall package was right. He is a very positive person, very mature for his age and has all the physical skills,” said goalkeeper co-ordinator Tom Stark. At FC Bayern, Pavlecic was initially drafted for the U19s.
