Experts name 10 houseplants you shouldn’t buy

You should stay away from some houseplants: they look great but are not easy to care for or are susceptible to pests.

What a diva. Even if you do everything for a houseplant, from careful watering to regular fertilizing to the correct location, it may turn out that some species require very intensive maintenance and are prone to pests. Others are overgrown or need a lot of light. A plant expert previously had similar experiences and shared them on his YouTube channel Sheffield to make the plants.

Richard stresses that the choice of plants only reflects his personal experiences – if you have a very green thumb, you can of course try them. Some YouTubers don’t always agree with Richard, others are relieved:
