The Finns will face Wales first in the battle for one of the final three tickets to the European Championship. Israel plays against Iceland.
The draw for the European Championship qualifiers has been held. Finland is set for difficult Track A. In order to qualify for next summer’s finals in Germany, the Nordic team must first defeat Wales and then also Poland, which is the favorite against Estonia, coached by Thomas Haberli.
Ukraine, who finished only third behind England and Italy in Group C, should have an easier time. First, Bosnia and Herzegovina will pass on track B. In case of victory, the last hurdle will be the winner of the duel between Swiss group rivals Israel and Iceland.
In Path C the encounters were already known. The semi-finals are scheduled to be held on March 21, and the finals on March 26, 2024.
