According to his doctors, King Charles II can resume his public duties.
However, Buckingham Palace said that the British king's cancer treatment is still ongoing.
Next Tuesday, Charles wants to visit a cancer clinic with his wife, Queen Camilla (76 years old), and meet doctors and patients.
A palace spokesman said, according to media, that Charles is “very encouraged to return to some public duties and very grateful to his medical team for their continued care and expertise.”
In addition to visiting the cancer clinic, the Japanese imperial couple are scheduled to visit at the end of June, and will be received by Charles and Camilla at Buckingham Palace.
Charles' cancer was discovered during routine prostate surgery. It is not known what this cancer looks like. But it doesn't have to be prostate cancer. The king then withdrew from the public eye, but continued to carry out his duties behind the scenes.
