Bill and Tom Kaulitz Are Getting Their Own Reality Show on Netflix – News

Starting in June, “Kaulitz & Kaulitz” will offer an exclusive look into the private lives of brothers Tom and Bill.

Tokyo Hotel band members Bill and Tom Kaulitz will soon appear in a reality series on streaming provider Netflix. The “Kaulitz & Kaulitz” format will debut on June 25, the two 34-year-olds announced on Instagram on Wednesday.

We are both like one person. Bill is one side and I am the other.

“For the first time, the brothers open the doors of their home and offer an exclusive look into their private lives,” Netflix says. Excerpts should also contain very special moments. “We're like one person,” Tom said in a Netflix presentation. “Bill is one side and I'm the other.”

Partying, drama and flirting: that's what the series is about

The intimate reality series follows Bill and Tom over the course of eight months in their daily lives between international careers, family life, the Tokyo Hotel tour bus, parties, dramas and flirtations. It is a story of family and success for the two brothers. Parts of it are supposed to take place in Los Angeles. The twins live there for a long time. They grew up near Magdeburg, where as teenagers they founded the band Tokio Hotel with Gustav Schäfer and Georg Listing.

First Instagram post in ten years

For musician and host Tom Kaulitz, it's not just the series debuting, but also the Instagram post with the announcement. Model Heidi Klum's husband has been on Instagram for nearly a decade, but doesn't communicate much there: “I haven't posted anything at all,” the 34-year-old model told hundreds of viewers at a Netflix screening in Berlin. Then he wrote a reference to the broadcast provider chain. After just three hours, the post had more than 80,000 likes and 5,000 comments.
