Art of Getu participated in the Swiss Championships in Lausanne and scored a great success

At the beginning of December, the children of Art Ghetto left at 6 am in the car for Lausanne. They were all really nervous and excited. They expected a huge crowd at the Swiss Championships, which was very motivating but unusual. Last year’s Swiss Championships were held in Schaffhausen without an audience and without a common arrangement.
After two and a half hours of driving in the car – safely driven by an STV Stetten member – they arrived next to the Olympic Stadium and found the gym a little later. Some of the other clubs were preparing to warm up outside in the cold. The diving group had to hurry up first. Of course, the rest of the club and the early jump team cheerleaders cheered. The jumpers were quickly able to sign the satisfactory mark of 8.78 points. Then it was Rick’s turn. It was gratifying that they achieved the satisfactory mark of 8.97 points, which added to the excitement. Was it possible to build on the previous Swiss championship title with this performance? Recently, the new program got off the ground. Only gymnasts younger than the art of ghetto participated. They had to share a small warm-up hall with another club and were then able to show excited spectators what they had improved since the NWS at the end of October. Performance was rewarded with a score of 8.03 points.
After lunch together, they went to the rating. They were eagerly awaiting the awards ceremony. The horizontal bar group took third place and proudly took home the bronze trophy. The group of about 50 people can now be taken home comfortably accompanied by loud music, as the fans once again create a good atmosphere and applause.
