The Patience Test for SRF Introduction Nicole Berchtold (43!) The Bernese citizen is currently in London to participate in the ‘Faces and Stories’ program to report on the celebrations of the Queen’s 70th Throne Jubilee (96). Her nerves were put to the test while taping Sobriety on The Today Show.
Reason: during the recording, pedestrians repeatedly interrupted the TV woman. In the first shot, a person appeared in the photo, Berchtold stopped and said, visibly annoyed, “Hello, sorry!”. In the second clip, she turns towards the camera and is looking for a conversation.
She is basically a sick person
“It’s nothing unusual, it only happens with buds like this,” Berchtold says when asked by Blake. During the process, she was repeatedly teased by a group of young men. “Even after much patient persuasion, they always made fun of our recordings being broken,” she explains.
Even if the British hooligans in the clip properly released by SRF get on your nerves, you’re basically “very patient. I always try to treat such situations with humor and ask – if necessary, as in this case – in a friendly but firm manner, so that I can to continue my work.”
Still in business for “G&G” until June 27
The final speaker can be seen – without interruption – tonight from 6.15pm on SRF 1. “The festivities are impressive,” says Berchtold. “It’s a historic moment and I’m proud to be able to report from here.”
Nicole Berchtold will be in front of the camera on “Faces and Stories” until June 27, Then she gives up the position after 15 years. “The job at G&G has always filled me with pride and joy,” she wrote in March of her departure. “After 15 years, I decided with mixed feelings to take a step forward.”
She is completing a master’s degree in psychology
Berchtold will remain with SRF as coordinator of the “SRF bi de Lüt” special formats “Family Matters” and “Country Women’s Kitchen” as well as the “Hinter den Hecken” programme. She also completes a master’s degree in psychology.
