The 30-year-old from eastern Switzerland tackled the role with confidence and no longer let any tension arise. Safely, Zogg drove the bronze against Italy 1.

In the end, I hugged Dario Caviezel. The 27-year-old lost a good twenty to Maurizio Bormolino, thus giving Zogg a good starting position, which he used optimally.

It is the second medal at the World Championships in Bakuriani for both Zogg and Caviezel. Zug won gold in the parallel slalom on Tuesday, while Caviezel finished second in the parallel giant slalom on Sunday.
