The Xiaomi 13T is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels. In testing, the 144Hz display scored not only in terms of HDR support – in addition to HDR10 and HDR10+, the panel also supports Dolby Vision – but also in terms of brightness. We measured a peak value of over 1400 cd/m², which currently makes the Xiaomi 13T one of the brightest smartphone displays.
50-megapixel triple camera and 2x optical zoom
When it comes to the triple cameras, Xiaomi has significantly upgraded the 13T over its predecessor, the Xiaomi 12T. The 2MP macro camera, which wasn’t particularly useful anyway, has been dropped, making way for an identical camera setup as on the Xiaomi 13T Pro.
In addition to the main 50-megapixel optically stabilized camera (Sony IMX707), there is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (Omnivision OV13b) and, as a special feature, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x and 20x optical zoom. Digital zoom (Omnivision OV50D). Two Leica image modes are also available Leica is alive And Authentic Leica To experiment.
In terms of performance, it is in the upper middle class
To match the camera hardware, the Xiaomi 13T uses a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor. The SoC is a variant of the identical Mediatek Dimensity 8200, specially adapted for Xiaomi, which brings improvements to the camera’s ISP. The Imagiq 785 image processor is responsible for processing camera data.
Powered by the 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage of the Xiaomi 13T, the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra shows similar performance in the test with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, which is used in the Xiaomi Poco F5, among others. This means that the Xiaomi 13T cannot compete with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ found in the Xiaomi 13T Pro, but instead ranks more in the upper middle class of smartphones.
The Xiaomi 13T charges using the included 67W power adapter, which fully charges the 5,000 mAh battery within 41 minutes. There’s more charging power with the Xiaomi 13T Pro, whose 120W power supply does the same in just 20 minutes.

My passion for computers started with the C64. Since then, I’ve tested everything I can get my hands on in terms of hardware. From the C64 to the Amiga 500 and the first computer with an 8088 CPU, the list of projects eventually got longer and longer. I have been turning my hobby into a profession for over 20 years and have been active in the mobile sector at Notebookcheck since 2012. Before that, I worked as a hardware editor for IDG Media (tecChannel.de) and VNU Business Publications (PC Professionell), among others.
