As a Lufthansa traveler, you have had to wait a long time before the first flight with the new Allegris cabin. Now the time will come on May 1, 2024 and from now on you can also choose a seat in the new cabin as a passenger on the first two routes from Munich to Vancouver and Toronto. Initially, all seats are still free, but that will change.
On May 1, 2024, LH476 will take off from Munich to Vancouver, starting a new era for Lufthansa, especially in Business Class. On May 2, 2024, LH494 will fly direct to the second destination, Toronto, with a new cabin.
However, the new cabin has not yet been used on the two new routes every day. After May 1st, we will not return to Vancouver until May 5/9/10. Availability in Toronto seems better. Currently planned dates are May 2, 4, 6 and 8.

At least at press time, award flights to Toronto can still be booked for May 2/4/6/8. Unfortunately there is no access to Vancouver.
In principle, Lufthansa initially does not want to decide more than three weeks in advance on which flights the new cabin will be used. As a traveler on both routes, you should check the seating plan about three weeks before departure so you can choose a good seat.
During the second quarter, the new cabin will be available to book specifically for flights from late summer onwards. After that, only the Classic Business Class seat will remain bookable for free. All other four options require additional fees. How much will be announced at the end of April. However, when checking in online 30 hours before departure, it is still possible to select all seats that are still available for free.
Next destination: Chicago and Montreal
Once more A350s with the new cabin are delivered in late summer, the new cabin will be introduced to other destinations. The next route will be Munich-Chicago LH434/435 and Munich-Montreal LH474/475.
The new First Class should also be available for the first time from the fourth quarter.
