Meanwhile, the vaccination campaign has gone ahead for people aged 16 or over. In canton Schwyz, all Corona vaccination kits have now been approved. Going forward, all people over the age of 16 can register, as the canton announced Monday.
In the cantons of Friborg, Neuchâtel and Appenzell-Oserhoden, everyone over the age of 16 will soon be able to get vaccinated against the Coronavirus. This will be possible in Freiburg from May 8, in Neuchâtel from May 10 and in Appenzell Oserhoden from May 19.
Almost a million have been fully vaccinated
People aged 18 and over have been vaccinated with VOD since last week. In Jura canton, everyone over the age of 16 can be vaccinated against the Coronavirus starting this week.
