BAt the State Fire Brigade Competitions in Leobersdorf, the Weigelsdorf Fire Brigade won the Bronze B Category Competition!
There was great joy when, on Sunday July 2, Florianis of the Weigelsdorf fire department arrived at the fire station. They were ceremonially greeted by many comrades, relatives, representatives of the fire department command and the commander of the fire services subsection.
The Weigelsdorf fire brigade managed for the first time, after several second and third places, to claim the state win in Weigelsdorf. “We are very happy that we finally achieved victory in the state fire brigade competition, after achieving good placements several times,” said Commander Wolfgang Panzirch. In addition, the Group B competition was awarded Outstanding Second Place in the Goblet of Fire. “We’ve been training several times a week since winter and now our efforts are being rewarded,” says the proud skipper, who is part of the competition group himself.
Fire Brigade Commander Alexander Richter congratulated Florianis the victor from his division, saying, “You really deserve it.”
