Samsung Jet Bot AI+ vacuum cleaning robot (VR9500) in PCtipp test

How clean does the Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner do and how do pets interact with the Jet Bot AI+?

The round Roomba model has been around the author’s current apartment for a long time, and a D-shaped vacuum cleaning robot was also used as a test (Neato D10, go here for testing). Samsung takes a slightly different approach: The Jet Bot AI is partially round, but has a sort of triangular stem at the front.

The tester comes in white and also includes a Clean Station, which PCtipp also received for testing. After unpacking is a file JetBot AI+ From Samsung is simply eye-catching: the device is very well made and really presentable.

But at the same time it is large and heavy. The robot alone measures 30.5 x 32 x 12 cm (W x D x H) and weighs 4.4 kg; The suction station measures 28 x 40 x 52.5 cm (W x D x H) and weighs 5.1 kg. In short: you need space for a smart assistant. However, from the start I wonder if it fits all the furniture. But we’ll see.

It is not necessarily small and elegant. But once you get used to the design, Jet Bot AI+ is very effective

clean station

Starting with the Jet Bot+, a motorized cleaning station is included as standard, allowing for convenient and hygienic emptying of the dust container. The device comes with two dust bags with a capacity of 2.5 liters each.

Jet Bot AI+ was tested in a single-storey rented apartment of about 70 square metres, without thresholds and mainly wood or flagstone floors. PCtipp was able to try out Samsung’s vacuum robot for about two months.
