Wiretapped phone call shows how Russian defenses work
When they try to escape, Putin’s soldiers are ‘shooting at them by their own people’
Apparently, depending on their position, Russian soldiers are deployed to varying degrees near the front lines. In the foreground are convicts. If they tried to pile up, they would be shot by second-tier reservists. And on these guided weapons of the third grade.

Mobilization of reservists of the Russian army.
Reports are piling up of rebel Russian warriors refusing to enter the fight. Kyiv now has a Telegram channel called “I want to live” furnished. Russians unwilling to fight can enlist and then surrender. It is said that about 2,000 inquiries have already been received, as reported by the “Kyiv Independent”. But abandonment is not so easy.
The Russians call the front lines a “meat grinder”, the Telegram channel wrote. Because, despite the assurances from the leadership of the Russian army that even enlisted reservists will receive good salaries and comprehensive combat training, the reality at the front is clearly very different. Recently, in Zolote, near the Ukrainian border, reservists of the same military unit attacked each other. The men shot each other, killing more than two dozen soldiers within minutes. They should have gone straight to battle without training.
These reports cannot be independently verified. On the basis of consistent reports, a blueprint for how the Russians built their lines of defense emerged. In the foreground – and therefore closest to the impulsive Ukrainians – are convicts. If these were not fallen by enemy fire, they would surely die by their own hands if they tried to escape.

Convicts on the front line
Front line, that’s cannon fodder. The people in the rows behind them have orders to shoot those who try to escape. This comes from an intercepted phone call. Accordingly, individual lines of defense are operated differently – depending on the rank and dispensability.
In the foreground are convicts recruited in recent months with promises of impunity and other benefits. “Behind that, we stand, the mobilized reservists,” said one of the reservists on the cut-off call. Behind them only regular professional forces.
This means, according to the caller, that reservists in the second row also have a duty to shoot convicts running away from the front row. And reservists in the second row “guard” the third row of professional soldiers. “It is impossible to escape,” said the caller. “Otherwise, our people will shoot us.” (bag)
