Two of Musleger win the silver medal in the Swiss championships in their first participation in the top league

The RMV Mosnang Cycling Team came in with Björn Vogel and Rafael Artho as second in their first NLA Final. Only against the Swiss champions in Fungen did the Toggenburg team lose.

The two young RMV Mosnang cyclists had reason to celebrate last Saturday in Seuzach. Rafael Arthu and Bjorn Vogel competed for the first time in the top cycling league of the Swiss Championships. In four finals they achieved two wins, one draw and only one loss. Pay: Silver Medal.

Björn Vogel and Rafael Artho played a strong final. This can be read in the current RMV Mosnang newsletter. The two Toggenburg Radballer qualified for the final tournament for the first time. After runner-up in the cup final and runner-up in national title fights, the two finished second in the overall standings behind new and old Swiss champion Pfengen.

He lost only to the champion of Switzerland

In the first match of the final, the Mosligers met VMC Liestal and were knocked out 6-0. Rafael Arthu and Bjorn Vogel pulled off a draw against Altdorf 3, a team Mossangers know well. In the third match, they narrowly lost to Befingen. However, RMV Mosnang says:

“Musnang’s match against Pfungen was probably the best in this final.”

The Mosligers took the lead in the first minute, but lost 3:4 against the defending champions and the new Swiss champions. In the final confrontation, the Toggenburgers played against host RC Winterthur. Coming late in the first half, Vogel/Artho managed to turn the tide and take the silver in title fights with 4:3.
