A new Embraer E190-E2 has already been planned for four airlines. But extradition never worked.
Air Madagascar announced in December 2022 that it would expand its fleet with three Embraer E190-E2s from leasing company Azorra. The aircraft were intended to enhance domestic flights as well as reach new international destinations. The first aircraft has already received the airline’s livery. But the planned growth fails. Because Air Madagascar is experiencing severe financial difficulties and canceled the deal.
This allows Azura to return the plane to the window, which seems unlucky. The Embraer E190-E2 with serial number 19020016 was about to be delivered to four airlines but it never happened. The aircraft has been painted twice in the colors of the respective airline.
Two airlines from Asia, and two from Africa
But one by one. The plane took off for the first time in October 2021. The plan was to deliver the machine to Fuzhou Airlines of China. Registration was B-602R. The deal fell through. Embraer found a potential new buyer in Somon Air from Tajikistan, but that deal was not completed either.
The next airline to board was Congolese Airlines. The plane received the airline’s livery and the name of former Prime Minister Etienne Tshisekedi. But the airline ran out of money. On September 11, 2023, it ceased operations. Meanwhile, Air Madagascar is supposed to participate in the purchase of the Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. It was also for her The plane has already been painted – Again in vain.
