Prince Harry (38) and Meghan Markle (41) have given up their royal duties. And maybe that’s a good thing. Because the Duchess in particular probably wouldn’t be able to abide by the rules in the palace. Royal biographer Andrew Morton is sure of it.
When asked about the Sussexes’ return to London, he said on the news show Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips: “What, and should Meghan bow to Kate? I don’t believe it.”
However, the former actress had no choice. Because bowing is mandatory – this is dictated by royal protocol. If Prince William, 41, ascends the throne and Kate, 41, becomes queen, Meghan Markle will have to bow to her sister-in-law.
However, the expert also rules out return for other reasons. “They have their own lives in California. They have their own environment, their own influence, their own companies,” Morton says.
The relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family has been tense for a long time. In a few days, Harry will attend an event in London. But meeting with his family is not part of the plan. According to the Mail on Sunday, King Charles (74 years old) has a “busy schedule” and does not have time for his son.
