Limbecker Platz in Essen celebrates its reopening – there's a problem

A lot has happened at Limbecker Platz in Essen over the past few months. Many empty buildings have found a new tenant. There is a new branch of the Cham jeweller, the fashion store “Pull & Bear” or the ice cream shop Eislabor.

But this is still far from the end of the center's management plans for 2024. The next new opening at Limbecker Platz is now being widely announced.

Limbecker Platz announces its next new store

Limbecker Platz announced on its social media channels that “Søstrene Grene is coming to Limbecker Platz”. “Søstrene Grene” is a Danish company that offers, among other things, home accessories, kitchen accessories, gifts, stationery and small furniture. Two stores were combined specifically for the new store. Now customers can let loose and shop in the 250 square meter space.

DER WESTEN had already announced the reopening of the decor store in February, and now visitors should know that time will come soon. The reopening will be celebrated on April 19. So that everyone would know about the new opening on this day, the officials came up with something.

A welcome gift – but you leave empty-handed

“Special activities and live music are waiting for you” is the big promise. As WAZ learns, the first 120 visitors can look forward to a very special welcome gift: a hand-tufted rug. It begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, when Limbecker Platz also opens. Time may be an issue for some clients, as many will likely still have to work at 10am and will therefore walk away empty-handed at the opening ceremony.

The Danish company already has stores in other large shopping centers in the Ruhr area such as Centro Oberhausen or Ruhrpark Bochum. There is now also a “Søstrene Grene” store on Limbecker Platz in Essen on the ground floor, next to Vero Moda.
