Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Simon Inzaghi (Inter Milan) and Luciano Spalletti (Napoli) are the finalists for the best coach in Europe.
Saudi Arabia: Goalie Bono is drawn to Saudi Arabia
24 hours after the missed victory with Sevilla in the European Super Cup, Yassine Bono “Bono” appears in a nutshell with new colors. Morocco’s champion in the last Qatar World Cup moves from Spain to Saudi Arabia, where Bono will join Al-Hilal. The 32-year-old won the Europa League with FC Sevilla in 2020 and 2023. At Al-Hilal, Bono will be teammates with Neymar and Ruben Neves, among others.
Bundesliga: Union Berlin brings Volland
Union Berlin is further promoting its premiere season in the UEFA Champions League. Two days after signing German national player Robin Goossens, the Iron announced the transfer of Kevin Volland on Thursday night. The 31-year-old is from Ligue 1 club Monaco and is expected to cost around €4m.
American League: Al-Shugairi coach completes his staff
The Greek coach of the Chicago Fire team, Frank Klopas, who has been in office since May, appointed his compatriots Nikolaos Kostenoglou and Theodoros Antonopoulos as assistant coaches. Swiss players Xherdan Shaqiri and Marin Haile Selassie play for Chicago.
