30 years of the Spice Girls
Beckham's career began almost 30 years ago. In 1994, one of the most successful girl groups in the world was created through casting.
The Spice Girls consist of Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice) and Victoria Adams (Push Spice). The British band made their international debut with the song “Wannabe”.

Victoria Adams, as she was called at the time, did not choose her nickname “Posh Spice” herself when she founded the band.

The name wasn't her first choice, Beckham wrote on Instagram a few years ago. “I was young and shy. “Being 'Posh' has helped me find my style, confidence and voice,” says the former singer.
