Great Britain: Mendon’s Native Britain – Mendon (Sourland)

Martin Smith – Known as a sore thumb in Mendon.
He’s a soldier, he works for a utility company, and he makes theater whenever and wherever he wants. He’s an absolute star, with a pretty “weird” British accent.
This is why he wins the hearts of his fans, especially when he brings the snowman to life in winter, while narrating the story in English in many places, winning the audience over to him with gestures and facial expressions – big or small. And in spelling.
We were allowed to visit his show “Brits66” on June 10, 2023 and enjoyed delicious British comedy, good music, a good singer and a great band.
Martin shines in the role of Martin Smith, who he lives and breathes.

I would like to thank you – for many years he has been one of the great supporters of the English Speaking Club which meets in Oberottinghausen, he supports the Royal British Legion and does many other benefactions. His pictures are an ornament and his stories a delight. I almost forgot, he is also a writer.

So, thanks Martin, we’re glad you set foot in Mendon.
Be who you are, we love you!

The picture quality isn’t great, but for once I don’t have a camera.
