story:
The Fiat Dino Spider was the first compact car to be equipped with a 2-litre engine developed by Agostino Ferrari for Formula 2. When production ended after 1,163 Spiders had been produced, the press wrote:
As a Spider, the Fiat Dino is not only beautiful, but also very rare. And it's expensive because it's actually a Ferrari. In 1968, the Dino Spider chassis 904 was first registered in the canton of Zurich with registration number ZH222212 and remained in the possession of Fiat enthusiasts for 14 years. On November 23, 1982, a young man from Zurich also managed to fulfill his dream and buy this Dino Spider car. The car is still in his possession to this day. Over the past 42 years, he has regularly serviced his Spider and kept every receipt, making this example a valuable documented car. A nice restoration was carried out in 2016. For the preparation for sales and testing of the new MFK, around 24,000 CHF was invested in revising the technology.

Body and paint:
The paint was renewed in 2016 as a result of the restoration of the body, with the sills replaced in their original color. The paint has a very good texture and a nice sheen. In 2021, the paint and interior were gently restored at a cost of CHF 14,000.

Interior:
The leather interior has also been renewed, as have the carpets. The same goes for the dashboard, which was replaced due to weather and age.

Engine and mechanics:
The engine was serviced regularly and any repairs were made immediately. The very good emissions and tested compression values ​​of the newly modified engine and transmission mean the dyno barely notices the original mileage of 71,000km.

Landing gear:
The chassis and brakes were reviewed for recent veteran testing and showed very good test values.

Driving experience:
Although it was manufactured by Fiat, the Dino Spyder was designed by Pininfarina and powered by Ferrari. This is clear when driving with all the senses. With 160 hp, the curb weight of 1100 kg is as light as a feather in motion. The engine turns and shows that even 2 liters of displacement can make a hissing sound. The solid rear axle requires good feel and some practice when driving in a very sporty manner.
