Farming Simulator 23: A new sequel to the Transformer gets a release date

The Farming Simulator success story should continue smoothly on key with the next installment. The waiting time until the release date is not long either.

Farming Simulator 22 is back on the road on PC, PlayStation and Xbox – and now it’s players’ turn to make the switch again! Farming Simulator 23 has now been officially confirmed for Nintendo’s console and will be available in just a few months. Announcing live, developer Giants Software named May 23, 2023 as the release date. There will also be a retail version in brick-and-mortar stores across Astragon.

The new part of the franchise is the successor to Farming Simulator 20, released for Switch in 2019. You choose the type of farming – farming, animal husbandry or forestry – and get started. As always, there are countless machines that will help you in your activities on the farm and outside: more than 100 original vehicles and tools from well-known manufacturers are planned. Among others, at the start Case IH, CLAAS, DEUTZ-FAHR, Fendt, John Deere, KRONE, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Valtra and more.

New game mechanics are also being introduced, which enable different production chains, where you can, for example, process harvested wheat into flour in order to sell bread afterwards. Furniture made of wood or clothes made of sheep’s wool can also be made in this way. With plowing and weeding, new management tasks are also added.

When it comes to animals, chickens are now being added to cows, horses, pigs, and sheep. There are also 14 new crops, including grapes, olives and sorghum. Amberstone and Neubrunn are two new maps inspired by the environments in the United States and Europe.
