Host Germany will face Scotland in the opening match of Euro 2024, before Hungary and Switzerland wait for Germany, according to the draw held on Saturday in Hamburg.

Group F: Türkiye, Playoff C winner, Portugal, Czech Republic
The opening match between Germany and Scotland will be held on June 14 in Munich. The host’s other rivals in the preliminary round of Group A are Hungary and Switzerland. The German national team has already had to deal with Hungary in the UEFA Euro 2020 and in the last edition of the UEFA Nations League. Germany was unable to win all three matches.
Spain, Croatia and Albania are waiting for defending champion Italy in the second group. Austria has been drawn into Group D and will face the Netherlands, France and the winner of the play-off from Track A.
