Equestrian – Papanitz jumped to first place

On day three of CSI Arena Nova 2022, Pink Unicorn Purbach’s Bianca Babanitz won her first final with her seven-year-old “Connecticut” pony. In doing so, Papanitz won the “Ewali Prize”, having jumped to first place three times and completed the qualifying for four pairs in 32.14 seconds, with a clean shot.

“My horse has jumped really well here in the gym over the past few days and has adapted really well to the unusual conditions,” he praised the jubilant winner.

In the same competition, Catherine Kettner of Jules Riding and Country Driving Club received a special award for Best Youngster in the inaugural competition. It was placed four times out of six. In the Alicerova saddle, she took 11th place at 1.25 meters, 10th place at 1.25 meters, and fifth place at 1.35 meters.

Zurndorfer with great performance

In Libeca, Slovenia, David Hötsch of the Zurndorf Equestrian and Driving Club recently impressed him with a great dressage performance. He was just two points behind three-time world champion Martin Holler of Hungary.

“In recent years, no one has come close to the world champion,” says Hötsch, happy with a score of 40.91 for second place, which was achieved by his Eldiva and Idiaan horses. In the marathon, he finished thirteenth with Eldiva and his new horse El Dorado, seventh in conical driving and fourth overall.

Frauenkirchen in a class of its own

The annual Burgenland State Jump Championships were held at the Georgshof in Podersdorf over the weekend. In the single jump, reigning national champion Dennis Bosman won the “Tornado”. Ricarda Wachler took second place in Lovett, and third place went to Vanessa Peder.

In the group competition, there were three groups of Frauenkirchen. First place went to Isabella Zwinger, Dennis Bosmann, Vanessa Peder, Ricarda Wachler, Corinna Hasselbacher and Ed Bauer. The Vice National Champion was the Frauenkirchen Group 2 with Barbara Spangler, Lisa Hofinger, Melanie Steinhofer, Katharina Hloch, Walder Melanie, Magdalene Würz, Weissmeier-Anne, Floria Stadler, Janina Steiner.

Young group Frauenkirchen 3, who started in the Class A group jump class for the first time, ended up in third place. This team includes Sabrina Guttman, Rosa Wynth, Rosie Newman, Valentina Polres, Lina Beck, Alina Froch, Marcela Lackner and Nyla Boseman.
