Emma Hines Wins Sprint Final in Australia! Dörnbach is seventh

Cottbus track cycling event Emma Hinz won the sprint race of the Track Nations Cup in Adelaide (Australia) after spirited battles and triumphed against strong international competition. After a challenging match against German teammate Leah Sophie Friedrich in the quarter-finals and an intense final against Japan's Mina Sato, where a decisive third run made the difference, Hinze retained her top spot. At the same time, RSC Cottbus eV's Maximilian Dörnbach reached the semi-finals in the Keirin after winning the preliminary heat, but was eliminated there and finished seventh in the minor final.

Cottbus' Emma Hinz won the sprint at the Track Nations Cup in Adelaide, Australia. Hinz won against Fuko Umegawa (Japan). However, Hinz and Friedrich met two German women in the quarterfinals. Hinsey won the first run, but Friedrich forced a second run to decide the win. Emma Hinsey went fast again and advanced to the semi-finals. In the final, Japanese player Mina Sato didn't make it easy. Sato won the first run, but Hinz forced a third run-off after winning the second. There he overtook the 26-year-old Sato to win the sprint.

RSC Cottbus eV's Maximilian Dörnbach won his opening heat in the Keirin to confidently advance to the semi-finals. However, he was eliminated there in sixth place, but reached the minor final for seventh place.
