Bellwright's medieval game, which features a mix of role-playing, strategy and building games, will soon officially enter Early Access. The time will come on April 23, 2024 – so Bellwright will also be ahead of Manor Lords, which begins three days later in a similar environment but with greater anticipation.
After conducting a three-day playtest at the end of last month, Polish development studio Donkey Crew was able to collect “a lot of valuable feedback”, which was used in the following weeks to fix and improve bugs. The Early Access phase should also be used for “ongoing content updates and fixes.”
With Bellwright, Donkey Crew promises, as well as all the content related to the game, that it has learned from the bumpy start of the previous project, Last Oasis. After early access server issues caused the survival MMO to be temporarily withdrawn from sale in March 2020, the development studio itself was not satisfied with the progress made in the following years. Meanwhile, the team commented in a blog post He is very critical of himself about the situation From Last Oasis – It remains to be seen if things actually improve with Bellwright.
