A Russian military convoy is said to pass through Ukraine with a length of about 40 miles. This makes the shaft longer than previously assumed – about twice its length. Consisting of tanks and other military vehicles, it stretches from Hostomil Airport in northwest Kyiv to the village of Pribersk, which is located between Kyiv and Chernobyl.
64 kilometers – 27 kilometers in length at the start. This is now shown by satellite images published by the news agency Unian on Tuesday. The recordings come from the US company “Maxar Technologies”.

Tanks, armored vehicles and artillery
Maxar said CNN On Monday, the military convoy consisted of armored vehicles, tanks, artillery and other logistical vehicles. Pictures of the convoy show dozens of vehicles lining the roads in the Ukrainian countryside.
Some of the compounds are “too far apart,” Maxar says. Others are grouped “into twos and threes”. Some photos show smoke from buildings believed to be on fire.
Troops in Belarus
The US company also released images showing new deployments of troops from attack helicopters and vehicles in Belarus, less than 30 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
Maxar explains the updated dual-length convoy with additional satellite imagery. The company explained to CNN that the recordings have now been evaluated collectively and so the length of the convoy can be estimated correctly.
The recordings showed the convoy on Monday. At the time of satellite imagery, it was located at the Antonov Air Base – about 27 kilometers from the center of Kyiv. (European Union)
