Liverpool Football Club has bought its ticket to the round of 16 of the Champions League in the fifth round of the group stage. At Ajax Amsterdam, the Reds eventually won 3-0.

Jurgen Klopp did not lose a match against Ajax before the duel as a coach – and this streak continues. His team never found their way into the match at first, and the 0-1 draw at Nottingham Forest appears to have made its mark. Ajax, who certainly had to win to keep their chance of reaching the Round of 16, started strong and should have gone early: Probe put the ball through Bergwis in the penalty area, who only hit the right post from a few meters away. Darwin makes things right
The lead for the guests wasn’t deserved, but it was a testament to the individual quality of the Reds. This was back in play again before the break, but Darwin only completed good play via Robertson and Roberto Firmino on the left post – 2-0 awarded easily (44).
However, this had no consequences, as Darwin made up for his missed opportunity shortly after the start of the second half – with the Uruguayan heading Robertson’s corner into the lower right corner (49). The hosts’ resistance was broken and Liverpool immediately went on to make it 3-0 – Elliott hit the crossbar from a slightly sharp angle after a superb pass from Salah (51).

The match was decided, Liverpool lost some gear. Ajax tried to get close again, but Alisson didn’t really have to interfere in his 200th match for the Reds. Thanks to 3-0, the LFC is definitely in the round of 16, on November 1 (9pm) it comes to the group’s victory over Napoli. As for Ajax, next week it will be against Rangers to participate in the European League.
