04/29/2023 | (rsn) – The German U-23 team got off to a very good start in the Carpathians (2.2 marks). In the four kilometer team time trial in Budapest, the team led by national coach Ralf Grabsch was beaten only by victorious cycling team Friuli ASD and team Ecoflo Kronos.

The BDR quintet of Moritz Krecci, Tobias Back Gramko, Vincent John, Moritz Chasa and Max Merkel ended up seven seconds behind the winning team and ended up ahead of second division team Green Project – Bardiani CSF in the same time. Austria’s Tyrol KTM team finished fifth, eight seconds behind.

The national team coach hopes that Khamasi will take his momentum from the team’s opening experience to the next four stages so that he can achieve more good results. “Ideally, we will bring a driver to the top of the overall standings.
