Shooting in front of Al Mursal Club: Two people were seriously injured
A shooting took place on Saturday evening near the Swiss border, at the Cinder Club in Lustenau. The background is still unclear.
A shocker at the famous Sender Club in Lustenau, just a few kilometers from the Swiss border, hosting about 200 guests on Saturday evening.
Austrian News Portal »folder.at» Reports indicate that several shots were fired in front of the club shortly before midnight on Saturday. Two men were seriously injured. Neither of them work at the club nor do the bouncers. So they are probably guests. As reported by the Voralberg State Police, both victims are of Chechen origin.
One of the injured was taken to Dornbirn Hospital and the other to Bregenz State Hospital. There is currently no information available about further details about the gunshot victims or the type of injuries, nor about the possible background to the crime.
The perpetrator fled in a black SUV
The police were present there in large force, and according to the report, they cordoned off the area. Visitors to the club were also questioned about the incident. The search continues. The person who fired the shots apparently fled in the direction of Lustenau – in a black SUV. This is what witnesses reported. (cr/tn)
