Microsoft is giving the Windows 11 setup routine a revised user interface. The Windows Setup Experience user interface will be updated for the first time since the days of Windows Vista, and as part of this revamp, it will be given a “cleaner, more modern design,” which should also be more user-friendly. On the Windows Insider blog Microsoft assures us that the installation routine has not been “slimmed down” in any way.

Every user should decide for themselves whether the new Windows Setup Experience UI, which is now debuting with the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26040 from the Canary Channel, really looks more modern. The controls, icons, and dialog boxes are already familiar.

Developer @NTDEV_which is also responsible for miniaturizing Windows 11 in the form of Tiny11, has already detailed the new installation routine in a YouTube video and provides impressions.
