The vote of Germany must bid farewell to the ex-jurors. The replacements will be Stephanie Kloss, Mark Forster, Rhea Jervie and Peter Maffei.
BERLIN – The voice of Germany says goodbye to familiar faces. Stephanie Kloss (38) from Silbermond, Mark Forster (40), Rhea Garvey (50) and Peter Maffay (73) will not return to the singing show next year. The anchor is still leaving it open whether it should be a permanent goodbye or if the four stars will return at some point.
A statement from ProSieben on its official Twitter page read: “After a fantastic last season of ‘The Voice’, our coaches Stephanie Kloss von Silvermünde, winning coach Marc Forster, our favorite Irishman Rhea Garvey and music great Peter Maffay of ‘The Voice Germany’ have taken a break this year.” .
Farewell, there were personal words from the station chief. According to the statement, Daniel Rosemann, station chief at ProSieben and Sat.1 said: “You’ll never go completely, something of you stays here. Dear Stephanie, dear Mark, dear Ria and dear Peter, ProSieben and Sat.1 thank you for the wonderful and wonderful hours at” The Voice of Germany”. You know: As part of the big “The Voice” family, you’re always welcome on the red chairs. See you soon. It’s been an honor.”
Constant jury change: The Voice of Germany coaches can come back
It is not yet clear who will replace the four judges next season. However, it is nothing new for the ex-Judges to return. For example, Rea Garvey was present for Seasons 1 and 2 in 2011 and 2012 and then returned for Seasons 4, 5, 9 and 12.
Stephanie Kloß co-starred with Rhea Garvey in Seasons 4 and 5 and then returned for Season 12. In 2020, Rea was also the showrunner alongside Samu Haber and Stefanie Kloß once as an understudy. Mark Forster has been a permanent head coach since Season 7 in 2017, and Peter Maffay made his first foray into the red chair in Season 12.
