Turns out the dream plane made from Boeing's rubble was just a joke
A fictional story about a self-made plane was mistakenly taken too seriously. Austrian news platform OE24 has been hit by fake news from the satirical magazine Postilon.

While combing through the jungle of digital news papers, the 24-hour news channel stumbled upon the fictional story of “Postillon.” It tells how a collector and hobbyist named Jörg Thomann came from Frankfurt after six years of careful research. Making a plane out of fallen Boeing parts.
The satirical article mocked the recent series of accidents involving the American aircraft manufacturer. For several weeks it has been making headlines with frightening incidents involving defective aircraft parts.
Toman's story, which OE24 also posted on Instagram, quickly gained attention and approval online. Within a few hours, more than 1,000 users liked the post by clicking “Like.”

The makers of the satire offered to OE24 to arrange an interview with the fictional creator as well as attend the maiden flight in the self-built plane. The OE24 flyer has since been removed, landing in front of the aircraft Digital end station.
