- iPhone users will soon be able to record their state of mind with iOS 17.
- Later, the algorithm will automatically determine how users feel.
- Apple is increasingly focusing on features in the health sector.
With iOS 17 expected in the fall, Apple wants to introduce a new functionality that allows users to record their state of mind. At first, they are supposed to manually input what they are feeling, but later, the iPhone can automatically determine the mood of its owner, such as Bloomberg reports.
Algorithms must be able to recognize the state of mind based on the voice or messages sent. Users can then track how their moods have changed over time in the Health app.
The AI coach makes you fit
Another health feature is expected to come a little later, which is an AI-powered personal trainer. This could evaluate data used by the Apple Watch, for example, and then give individual advice about nutrition or training programmes.
The AI trainer, called Quartz, is not expected to be available until 2024 and will be offered as a paid subscription service. May be integrated into an existing Apple Fitness subscription.
Health features are now a major focus of Apple products. Just a few days ago, it was announced that iOS should also get a diary app. This is intended to help improve the mental health of iPhone users.
