Is the Russian military learning from its mistakes after all?
There must be order in the Russian army again. At least, this is what the experience of the Russian fighter Roman Saponko suggests. He writes on Telegram that the “chaos” is over and strict rules are in place.

Is this the end of the “chaos” in the Russian army? This is what Roman Saponcu’s field report suggests.
Roman Saponcu reported significant improvements in equipment, combat morale, and gunnery procedures. Learn about “positive dynamic” in the Russian army.
In November, videos surfaced on social media showing drunk and aggressive Russian recruits. Alcoholism and mayhem still exist, but “the mayhem,” as Sapunkov calls it, must now end.
He writes, “Order is established among the crowds.” Strict rules for new recruits have been introduced.
New weapons for the Russian army
Sapunkov, who claims to serve as a “volunteer” in the Russian army, also gets into gear. Previously there were no first aid kits, no helicopters, no uniforms. And now the soldiers’ needs for more professionalism and comfort are gradually approaching.
The Ministry of Defense introduced new combat equipment, such as anti-drone guns. The armed forces took care of the guns.
Russian artillery is getting better, Sapunkov said
The Russian fighter has also undergone changes in combat. Russian artillery is now able to fire faster and identify targets faster.
So the Ukrainians are forced to retreat with their guns more quickly so as not to be hit by the Russian artillery.
Russian forces will slowly become a “single organism” and the mechanisms will intertwine. Shorter decision paths are also new.
“Effectiveness” in the focus of the Russian army command
“The decision to open fire is made at the level of the battery commander, who has direct contact with infantry reconnaissance,” says the analysis, which has reached nearly two million people on Telegram.

Now it is not so much about survival as more about “army effectiveness”.
But at the end of his experience report, Roman Saponcu no longer looked so cheerful. “It is clear that the situation described is highly dependent on the commanders at the site and varies greatly from place to place,” the fighter concludes. (club)
