Austria will travel with 70 athletes to attend the World Games of Non-Olympic Sports in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. 14 sports are included in the red, white and red team, including billiards, jiu-jitsu, climbing, weightlifting, water skiing, and dance sports.
In the flag of football and handball, Austria is represented by a women’s team and a men’s team. From July 7-17, Team Austria will compete for medals.

Initially on Tuesday and Wednesday at a hotel in Vienna’s Prater, the 120-strong delegation will dress up. Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen bid farewell to the Austrian national team in Hofburg on Thursday.
