A partnership between InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Iberostar Resorts has been in place since last year. IHG One Rewards members enjoy status benefits at select all-inclusive resorts, including earning and redeeming points
In order to better publicize the partnership, there is now an interesting offer. You can get 40,000 IHG rewards points (worth around €200) for 4 nights at Iberostar resorts. Anyone who stays for 8 nights gets 80,000 points.

It should be noted that the collaboration between IHG and Iberostar only includes selected hotels worldwide. The list of participating hotels can be viewed here. For example, resorts (particularly cheap) in Tunisia are excluded. However, the offer could be very attractive, because there are already 4 nights in Europe From 344 euros.

Calculation example
Bonus points are in addition to the regular points balance. If you stay in Montenegro for €344 a night, you'll get a total of 43,740 points (worth about €220):
- Base Points: 374 USD * 10 points/USD = 3,740 points
- Bonus points: 40,000 points
- Total: 43,740 points
As a status customer, it will be possible to get up to 47,480 points.

- Offer can only be used twice per account (i.e. there is a maximum of 80,000 bonus points for a total of 8 nights)
- Only applies to bookings made after registration
- Only applies to stays that:
- It costs at least $30 per night (or local equivalent). But none of the hotels will be cheaper anyway
- Are entitled to collect reward points (no reward nights or points and cash)
- Bookings can be made directly on ihg.com or directly at the hotel
- Obviously the four nights do not have to be consecutive, as points are awarded for every fourth night
