The physical version of The Silent Swan has been announced

Open world novel “The Silent Swan” by developer studio praenaris and publishers Gamer’s nest It should appear later this year. As it is now known, there will be a physical version of the standalone game, at least for PlayStation 5. Whether this also applies to other platforms, such as PlayStation 4 and PC, is not yet known.

The story follows Mirov Kavrazima as he enters the lands beyond the walls to pursue Celine, his wife and sole witness to the drowning, who has vanished without a trace – apart from a series of four-winged origami swans. These swans contain the graffiti they left behind, with the apparent intent that Mirov finds and pursues them.

Throughout the game, Mirov gradually draws closer to the bed of misfortune that has hit his home, aka the Fall, and draws closer to the truths he’s desperate to uncover, while a strange anxiety warns him he’d better go back.

The Silent Swan is the story of two cities: Urzhum and Cernur; of two conflicts: the past and the future; And by two people. Celine and Mirov.

In terms of gameplay, The Silent Swan follows the open world formula of exploring and collecting items, but with a narrative twist, as the letters and stories of those who have passed through the desolate land are the items to find, and the same letters serve as a guide and tool for gaining further stories.

The huge outside world defined by walls has urban areas scattered around. All of these urban areas are connected by earth bridges – earth bridges that rise above the ground – that the player navigates on Quicycles.

The levels themselves are homogeneous urban areas, with the peculiarity that every building, every floor, and every corridor is entirely walkable. This serves a purely environmental and technical purpose, a tool that forces the player to read messages and dialogues that lead the way.
