At the Swiss company Dormakaba, up to 800 full-time jobs will be cut worldwide.
With job cuts and other procedures, Dormacaba wants to save costs of about 170 million francs annually.
The restructuring will be implemented step by step – to be completed in 2026.
How much jobs in Switzerland will be affected, the company was not yet able to say when asked by the AWP news agency. Detailed plans are still being determined at the country level and discussed with employee representatives in accordance with legal provisions.

The company, headquartered in Romalang, Zurich, specializes in key systems and other access solutions. First of all, negotiations will be held with employee representatives on how to implement job cuts in a socially responsible manner, the statement said. Dormakapa currently employs about 16,000 people.
