Legendary rock band AC/DC will headline this summer for the first time in nearly eight years.
The band will also perform in Switzerland on June 29 on their “Power Up” tour.
All 47,000 tickets for the concert, which was held at Zurich's Letzgrund Arena, were sold out within eight minutes, organizers announced.
Shortly after the start of pre-sales, it became possible to find the first tickets on online platforms at astronomical prices. Two seats in the Letzigrund can be purchased for 1,500 francs, according to what Blick reported.
The Australians, famous for rock anthems such as “Highway To Hell”, “Back In Black” and “Thunderstruck”, announced on Monday a European tour from May to August 2024, confirming months of speculation. The band, made up of guitarist Angus Young (68), are playing 21 concerts in a total of ten countries on their “Power Up” tour, named after their latest album.
