Debugging server crashes 7.0.5.1 – All debug notes and info

Another Destiny 2 server crash occurred today. Bungie is trying to keep the bell trap going so you can play Iron Banner this week. We’ll show you all the important times and patch notes in our overview and we’ll be there live.

What you need to know today: After the big mid-season update, this time Bungie is shutting down the servers for a smaller patch. As usual, it will try to fix some bugs and improve stability.

MeinMMO lists the known crashes and issues that Guardians are currently experiencing.

Maintenance on 04/25 – at all times to the server down

These times are important today: As always, Bungie via Twitter Know the exact times. This time you have to play Destiny 2 for 30 minutes. So you can get out and touch the lawn in the meantime.

Here is the exact maintenance schedule:

• At 6:00 pm German time, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
• Starting at 6:30 PM, the servers will go offline and players will be automatically kicked out of all activity.
• Update 7.0.5.1 will be rolled out to all platforms during this time and can be downloaded.
• Officially, the servers will be back online around 7:00 PM.
• However, the ongoing background maintenance won’t end until 8:00 PM if all goes smoothly. During this time you can already gamble again.

Important: Even if you download the update and get back into the game, you may experience connection issues until the end of maintenance at 8:00 PM. You may also have to expect queues when logging in.

Also, keep in mind that third-party apps and the official companion app may not be accessible properly for a period of time after the update.

This changes with hotfix 7.0.5.1 in Season 20

This brings fix today: Bungie has been constantly working through bug reports that have been reported since the launch of Lightfall.

MeinMMO lists problems that Bungie is already aware of. However, the patch notes only show what will be fixed.

• Chests at the destination in EDZ do not contain any rewards when opened.
• Submitting a missing gear item through the Destiny API may crash some players.
• The String Hunter hook side effect does not trigger some class ability mods.
• The Seasonal Guardian Rank Reset script incorrectly states that ranks 6-10 are ascension ranks, and players at those ranks will be reset to rank 5 at the end of the season. In fact, ranks 7-11 are promotion ranks, and players at these ranks will revert to rank 6 at the end of the season.
