An intense match in a tight space: TSV Buchbach narrowly beats VfB Hallbergmoos

Buchbach won 1-0 in Tufkirchen in front of 300 spectators

A successful start to the “Summer Festival Days” at Aspis Taufkirchen, which is being held for the second time this year. On Wednesday evening, in front of nearly 300 spectators, relegated Bayernliga clubs TSV Buchbach and VfB Hallbergmoos faced each other at the TSV Stadium. The top class team won 1: 0 (1: 0).

Taufkirchen – “All in all, it was very good,” enthuses Aspis president Anastasios Parapanis. “The whole package was perfect.” It all started with the entry of the teams, who were accompanied by the youngest TSV kickers, Bambini and F-Juniors.

“Both teams noticed that they didn’t fit well with our pitch, all narrower and smaller,” says Parabanes. “On the other hand, it was a very intense match as there weren’t many chances to score.” And so today’s goal came from a mistake in the VfB defence.

After blocking a Hallbergmoos corner, Amani Mbaraka played, according to Parabanes, a “sloppy half-high backpass” to his goalkeeper David Hundertmark, who advanced to midfield. The goalkeeper missed the ball, Buchbach’s Tobias Sztav splashed between them, then ran unhindered towards an empty VfB goal and pushed it in with ease to make it 1-0.

“Although you could have seen that Hallbergmoos would certainly play well in the local league, Buchbach was in control of the game,” says Parabanes. “It was a header from Alex Petrović, but VfB captain Christophe Momkes pushed it wide.”

What made the TSV boss so happy: “The fans and football players were totally excited about the atmosphere and stayed seated for a long time.” With grilled dishes and cold drinks, they were all sitting and talking, it was really nice to see,” says Parabanes.

The actual summer festival takes place tomorrow, Saturday July 1, on the grounds of TSV. From 11 am a tournament for the youngest footballers will be held at Aspis with FC Hörgersdorf. The men’s tournament will kick off with FC Hohenpolding, TSV Dorfen II, FC Enning and host Aspace Tufkirchen at 2pm. (Wolfgang Krzyszczuk)
