BEIJING, April 20 /PRNewswire/ – An international ceramic art exhibition opened on Saturday in Jingdezhen, east China’s Jiangxi province, to promote China-Britain cultural exchanges.
Under the motto “Ceramic Travel Belt and RoadSharing the Same Moment”, the exhibition was held in two locations, Jingdezhen City and Cambridge, UK, respectively, allowing artists, craftspeople and representatives at home and abroad to discuss the development of ceramics via video link.
The exhibition includes six activities: a 100-piece pottery exhibition with elements of the mid-autumn period, a dinner under the stars with representatives of artists, craftspeople and international youth, a tea party inviting foreign friends to appreciate ceramics, a lantern. A program featuring Linglong ceramic crafts and traditional Chinese lantern puzzles, a ceramic firing experience activity at Taiping Pit, and a Mid-Autumn Festival cultural activity spanning time and space between Jingdezhen and Cambridge.
The six activities not only showed the unique beauty of Chinese ceramics, but also further expanded the path of cultural exchange of Jingdezhen ceramics.
