The FCZ champion will present his new coach this afternoon in Letzigrund. According to Blick information, there are several indications that Franco Voda (56) will succeed Andre Breitenreiter.
Fouda’s last training was the Austrian national team, as the contract with the German was not renewed at the end of March after the World Cup qualifiers against Wales were eliminated.
He took over the Ösi-Kicker position from Marcel Koller in 2017. Previously, Fouda made a name for himself as a coach at Sturm Graz.

The former Germany international has already spent six months as a player in Switzerland: he defended Bayern in 1997. Now he can return to the Premier League as a coach from FCZ.
Fouda matches the profile of requirements that Zurich went in search of when the departure from Breittenreiter to Hoffenheim became apparent. Because other candidates such as Achim Beierlorzer (54), Thomas Letsch (53) or Torsten Fröhling (55) would be such coaches from Germany with years of experience in the professional field.
The same applies to Alexander Zorniger (54 years old), with whom he was also in contact. But the coach of Apollon Limassol is still in Cyprus, where he has a current contract, moreover, he enters the qualification for the Champions League after Zurich.
