Yes he does.
The company is fun, I feel good overall. The percentage of competent fellows is very high and I’m glad that the average age of resident dragons is not 60 years old.
Of course we want to be recognized in the group, and after LH had a virtual monopoly on German air traffic under Spohr, there were no more options for flight crew than Condor, TUI or Disco for a reasonable employer at least.
It’s starting to bother me when I read the same nonsense in some comment columns which is completely stupid and unreflective.
I love our product and support it because I personally really do.
Of course there is a lot of room for improvement, collective agreements, etc. – but we are committed to this and we also have, at least in part, the backing of venture capital. With a little perseverance and self-confidence, we will strengthen our position… We will not give up, because I am definitely not cheap.
They also don’t want to take anything from LHG (about 25 aircraft out of over 700 at LHG are only 3.5% of the total fleet size. So it’s a negligible small percentage.
I am happy that there are some colleagues at Lufthansa who see us as an asset, not as competitors. Because the latter is exactly what Mr. Shabour wants: competition and internal division.
I can’t and won’t give him that.

Do you also have something to contribute, or at least explain why Eric should do this? So is he wrong?
