What’s new in Firefox 98 for iOS
Mozilla released Firefox 98 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The new version in Apple App Store Ready for download.
The address bar is below by default
Like Firefox for Android, Firefox for iOS now has the address bar at the bottom by default for new users. If you like the address bar at the top better, you can bring it back to the top via Settings.
Home screen background image
By clicking on the Firefox logo on the Firefox start screen, you can now optionally choose one of three Start screen background images. Alternatively, selection is also possible via the start page settings, where the background image change can also be deactivated by pressing the Firefox logo.
Other innovations
Other than that, there were of course some bug fixes and other improvements. Meanwhile, two updates to fix out of order bugs were also released with Firefox 98.1 and Firefox 98.2 for iOS.
