Version 2.0 of the BeeHive review tool has been released

Something small: Glassbox Technologies has released BeeHive 2.0, the latest version of commercial real-time editing and review software within Unreal Engine and Maya, especially for content produced in the context of virtual production. According to the product description, BeeHive enables decentralized work by allowing creators to work directly on the same project, no matter where they are in the world.

Below we’ve rounded up some of the most important innovations we’ve come up with in BeeHive 2:

  • Version control for each asset: It can be controlled via the new registration card (tab) called Asset History
  • Unreal Engine: Additional support for Unreal Engine sublevels as well as new asset types. It is said that with version 2.0, creators will be able to switch between these levels and sub-levels. Additionally, BeeHive is said to now support all assets from the Unreal Engine, including landscapes, plants, and lights (the latter includes Lumen. Lumen has been reported by Digital Productions in Unreal Engine 5 on 20.06. And the 5.09. this year).
  • Windows File Sharing It is now automatically recognized and usable.

Digital production was recently reported on 05/24/2022 Via Glassbox Technologies, when version 3.0 of the DragonFly virtual camera software was released.
