The VBK revamped the Karl-Wilhelm-Platz track system
In Karl-Wilhelm-Platz in Oststadt, the VBK will renew the track system between Tuesday 25 May and Monday 7 June 2021. Meanwhile, the municipal civil engineering department is carrying out a construction project in Haid-und-Neu-Straße. During this time Tram lines 4, 5, 6 and S2 will be diverted.
The stations at Karl-Wilhelm-Platz and Hauptfriedhof (Haid-und-Neu-Straße) cannot be operated during construction work. For lane work on Karl-Wilhelm-Platz, this intersection must also be completely closed to motor vehicle traffic.
A local guide sign for road users will be placed. Bicycle and pedestrian traffic will be preserved in this area.
